We went to Kilcooley Abbey on Thursday 9th of October. Liam told us about the castle which is very old. It was very interesting. It was the best trip. I liked it and so did my class. The doors were so small that Mr Gleeson had to duck his head to get in.
-Cormac Maher, 2nd. Class
Yesterday was the ninth of October and we went to Kilcooley Abbey. It was lots of fun. Mrs Noonan's husband Liam was showing us around the Abbey. When we went in he told us about it. The ceiling was all green. There was a tombstone and the apostles were all on it in a row. There was one missing and his name was Judas. Liam told us a lot about it. Outside the Abbey, a good bit away, was a dove cote where they used to keep all the pigeons.

On October the 9th we went to Kilcooley. Mrs Noonan's husband was showing us around. We went into the Abbey. We saw lots of things. I made some rubbings. We saw a pyramid. Some people say that there are dead people standing up in it. The Abbey was really big. I was sitting beside Lauren on the bus.

Today was the best day ever. We went to Kilcooley Abbey to see a HAUNTED castle. It's not really haunted ....I just said that to scare you. I bet it did. Ha ha ha!
No? Ok, back to the story. Liam Noonan showed us around. Some say that the Switzers are buried in a kind of a tomb and that they are all buried standing up! I know! How freaky is that?
So that's all I can think of so if you are going to Kilcooley Abbey make sure that you are safe because it's haunted. (Not really)
